The untimed reasoning test lets you pause, skip a question and return to it later. There is no countdown.

Timed tasks

The attention and memory tasks need vision and a pointer or keyboard and measure response times. If you use a screen reader or need more time to respond, try the questionnaires or reasoning tests. Every timed task accepts keyboard input (Space, Enter, arrow keys, digit keys, S and N) as well as touch, honours reduced motion, announces progress and results in a live region, and can be stopped at any point. The questionnaires and reasoning tests remain fully keyboard- and screen-reader-operable.

Children’s learning pages

Play areas use 64-pixel targets for the youngest age band, every spoken instruction has a visual cue, captions can be turned on by the adult, motion follows your reduced-motion setting or a switch under “Settings and progress”, and every tracing step can be completed with a keyboard or switch as a guided stroke.
