Keyboard, touch, motion, and assistive-technology support

Review native choice controls, labelled progress, visible errors, focus handling, reduced motion, touch targets, and the route for reporting a barrier.

Tests use native radio buttons inside fieldsets with visible legends, 44-pixel targets, keyboard-equivalent navigation, labelled progress, focused validation errors, and live result announcements. Motion is non-essential and disabled when reduced motion is requested.

Timed tasks

The attention and memory tasks need vision and a pointer or keyboard and measure response times, so they cannot be completed with a screen reader alone or at an adjusted pace; that is a limit of what they measure, and each task page says so before Start. Every timed task accepts keyboard input (Space, Enter, arrow keys, digit keys, S and N) as well as touch, honours reduced motion, announces progress and results in a live region, and can be stopped at any point. The questionnaires and reasoning tests remain fully keyboard- and screen-reader-operable.
