Sign in with Google or an emailed link to keep your practice plan, review deck and saved results on your phone and laptop, and see what changed since last time.

What your account keeps

• Saved results. Keep a result and see the change since last time on your next sitting of the same test.
• Your plan and review deck on every device. Turn on sync once, and your phone and laptop share one plan and one deck.
• Your aptitude runs. Saved trainer runs appear above the trainer, with a line of how they went.
• Your passport on every device. The stamps you collect travel with you instead of staying on one browser.
• Share a result. By a link that expires and that you can revoke.

What we receive from Google

The openid, email and profile scopes and nothing more: a stable account identifier, which we store only as a one-way hash; your email address, to recognise you when you return; your name, to show you who is signed in. Google also sends your profile picture, which we do not keep. We request no scope that reaches your mail, files, calendar or contacts, and we hold no token that lets us act at Google on your behalf. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or let a person read it except at your request. Section 4 of the privacy policy is the binding version of this paragraph.

How signing in works, technically

You are sent to Google and back. Google hands the proof of who you are to this page, not to our server; the page sends it to our API over the same connection you are already using, and the API checks Google’s signature and issues you a session that lasts 30 days from sign-in. No Google script runs on this site, and no password ever exists here.

Signing in with an emailed link

Type your email address and we send you a link. It works once, for 15 minutes, in the browser where you asked for it, and nothing happens until you press Finish signing in on this page. We keep your address to recognise you when you return, key your account on a one-way hash of it, and send the link as plain text with no tracking. An address you use with a link and with Google makes two separate accounts.

Leaving

Signing out ends the session at once, on this device and on our server; Sign out on every device, on the account page, ends every session of your account. Deleting the account removes the identifier, the email, the name and everything saved under it — at once from the bottom of this page once you are signed in, or within 30 days by emailing support@mytestatlas.com. Revoking our access at Google stops any further sign-in without touching your use of the tests.
