For teachers
Classroom tests with no pupil accounts and no pupil names
Run reading, typing, grammar and reasoning tests with a class: pupils join with a code, a seat and a PIN, no accounts, and no names reach our servers.

What class mode is
Class mode lets a teacher set MyTestAtlas tests for a class of up to 60 pupils. Pupils join with a class code, a seat number and a four-digit PIN from a printed card, with no account and no email. You see which seats have sent a result, and the names stay on your own device, never on our servers.
How a lesson goes
- Sign in with Google and create a class with as many seats as you have pupils. You get a six-character class code.
- Choose the tests: reading speed, typing, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, memory, attention, reasoning or money.
- Print the join cards. Each card has a QR code, the class code, a seat number and that seat’s PIN. Give each pupil the same card every lesson.
- Press Open for joining when the lesson starts. Pupils scan the card or go to mytestatlas.com/join/, choose the test and type their PIN.
- Each pupil takes the test on their own device, sees their result, and presses Send to my teacher. Your board turns their seat to “sent”.
- Download the CSV. The names you typed beside the seats on this device are added in your browser.
The tests you can set
Only tests that suit a class: knowledge and skill tests, reasoning puzzles and timed tasks. Knowledge tests explain every answer afterwards; timed tasks show the pupil’s own figures.
- Learn: English Level Test, Grammar Test, Reading Speed Test, Spanish Level Test, Spelling Test, Typing Speed Test, English Vocabulary Test
- Think: Matrix Reasoning Test, Number Sequence Test, Spatial Rotation Test, Spot the Fallacy Test, Visual Search Test
- Memory: Digit Span Test, Sequence Memory Test, Short-Term Memory Test, Verbal Memory Test, Visual Memory Test, Working Memory Test
- Attention: Attention Span Test, Go/No-Go Test, Reaction Time Test, Selective Attention Test, Stroop Test
- Money: Financial Literacy Quiz
Not offered in class mode: health-related self-checks, personality and mood questionnaires, IQ estimates, the Reason games and the practice sets. A pupil’s class page shows no advertising and has no link into the rest of the site.
What we store, and what we never receive
In a teacher’s class, each result is filed under a seat number; we never receive a pupil’s name, because which pupil sits in which seat is kept only on the teacher’s own device. A teacher’s class and every result in it are deleted 120 days after the class was created, or at once when the teacher deletes the class, a seat’s results or their account: removed from live storage at once, and from our encrypted backups within 35 days.
Results are worked out in each pupil’s browser, so a determined pupil could alter one; they are practice figures, not marks. The whole list, test by test, is on what class mode stores about a pupil.
What it costs
As of 10 October 2026, a free teacher account can have 6 classes at a time, each with up to 60 seats and 40 tests, and each pupil can send each test up to 3 times. Classes are free within those numbers. The numbers may change; a change never deletes a class you already have before its 120 days.
If your school’s Google account cannot sign in
Some schools’ Google Workspace settings block signing in to other sites. The quick class session for the reading speed test needs no sign-in: one link, seven days, words per minute and score from each pupil who presses Send, with no names.
