The four sections

Verbal reasoning

A short passage about invented organisations and a statement to judge: true, false, or cannot say. The skill is using only what the passage says, and noticing when it does not settle the question.

Numerical reasoning

A small table and one question: a percentage change, a share of a total, an average, a difference, a projection, or a change in percentage points. The answer is rounded as the question says, and the wrong options are the figures the usual mistakes produce.

Logical reasoning

Syllogisms, if-then statements and ordering puzzles in words, each checked against every possibility.

Abstract reasoning

Matrix grids and continuing series of shapes, with nothing to read.

Why the questions are new every time

Practice banks run out: the second time through, you remember the answers rather than work them out. Here every sitting is generated from a run number when you press Start, so the tenth sitting is as new as the first, and the same run number rebuilds the same paper if you want to retry it or report a question.

Every key is proved rather than asserted. A verbal statement is checked against every situation the passage leaves open — the orders in which the four organisations began, times the places two of them could be linked to — and it is true only if it holds in all of them, false if in none, and cannot say otherwise. A numerical answer is one computed figure, shown with its working after you answer. The logic and figure items are checked the way the practice page describes.

What this is not

These are original practice questions under our own names. They are not any publisher’s test, they do not copy one, and there is no percentile or pass mark: the items were generated a moment ago and have no norm sample. The result is your share correct per section in that sitting, and the section to drill next. It is practice for the person taking a test, not a tool for choosing people — the terms say so.
