Workload, recovery and resilience patterns, not a diagnosis
Two original adult self-checks for burnout patterns and recovery habits, plus a guide to what burnout is and what helps. No cut-off, no diagnosis, no advertising.
A self-check in this section is a set of original everyday-situation statements about work or study. The burnout route reports four patterns separately: energy that runs out, distance from the work, the sense of getting less done, and rest that does not restore. The resilience route reports four habits: getting going after a setback, using support, keeping perspective, and routines that hold under load. Neither can tell you whether you are burned out, and burn-out is not a medical diagnosis in the first place — the World Health Organization classes it as an occupational phenomenon rather than a medical condition. Neither can separate these patterns from low mood, broken sleep, thyroid trouble, ADHD, or a workload that no personal change would fix. Use the results to describe concrete situations to a doctor, or to whoever can change the work. If you feel unsafe, use the crisis numbers below before you take any test.

What the WHO definition of burn-out says, its three named dimensions, how it differs from depression, what the standard instrument measures, and what helps first.
Look for a pattern worth testing in real life. Do not use a result to diagnose yourself, prove intelligence, or make a hiring decision. Each route links its source and scoring method.
