What this assessment measures
Free tests in this territory ask about situations once and return a single avoidance number, and that number puts two completely different lives in the same place: the person who will do it with somebody beside them and not on their own, and the person who will not do it at all. This one asks the same eight ordinary situations twice, once on your own and once with somebody who could come with you, and reports the two as two meters side by side, with a third for what it has cost. Beneath the first two it says in words how they sit relative to one another, and where a distance is shown it is only the gap between two meters that are both already printed. Neither meter is the better one to have, the gap is not a problem to close, and nothing here is added together or taken away to make a score. If there is nobody available to come with you, answer the accompanied half as if there were someone: that is a valid way to take this page, and our loneliness self-check asks about having nobody to call on as its own question rather than as half of this one. The statements are original to MyTestAtlas, the scale runs from inaccurate to accurate, there is no cut-off and no total, and the result cannot tell you whether you have agoraphobia.

This page asks about eight ordinary situations and how each one stands for you alone and with somebody there, which is a description of your last few months rather than a measurement. It has no cut-off and no total. It cannot tell routing around something that comes from fear apart from routing around it that comes from a bad experience, a physical condition or a plain preference, and a life already arranged so the hard situations do not come up will answer it quietly.

Read the three meters one at a time. The first two are the same eight situations under different conditions, printed side by side and never added together or taken from one another to make a score. Neither of them is the better one to have, and the distance between them is not a problem to close. Three prominent meters are still not a diagnosis and three quiet ones rule nothing out. What this result is for is describing particular situations to a clinician.
