What this assessment measures
This self-check reports five patterns from the last two weeks: interest and pleasure, your energy and sleep pattern, worry that will not switch off, body tension and restlessness, and how it costs the day. It asks about twenty everyday situations and shows each pattern on its own scale. The items are original to MyTestAtlas. There is no cut-off and no total, and the result cannot tell you whether you have depression or an anxiety disorder.

- Original MyTestAtlas clean-room items, written from NIMH, NHS and WHO definitions; not a clinical screener
Original reflection items with no norm group cannot separate these patterns from the things that look like them. Those include broken sleep, thyroid trouble, grief, alcohol or other substances, medication effects, ADHD, a history of unusually high-energy stretches, and an ordinary reaction to a hard few months. Only a clinician taking a history and, where needed, a blood test can weigh those.

Read these five patterns one at a time. They are reported separately and are never added together. A pattern prominent in all five is still not a diagnosis. A pattern prominent in none does not rule anything out. What this result is for is describing concrete situations, with dates, to a clinician.
